To support young people in situations of mental health emergencies, “krisenchat” offers immediate digital help around the clock.
Anonymous and easy to reach via chat, the team of counsellors is immediately available for young people. Together with the young person, the counsellors determine the stressful situation, point out solutions and options for self-help and self-strengthening and refer them to local help centers.
In co-operation with experts and the local police, “krisenchat” intervenes in life-threatening situations.

Aim of the project
With the help of a professional network, children and young people receive targeted counselling. To ensure best service possible, “krisenchat” works with clinics, drop-in centres, doctors and child and youth welfare services. In addition to crisis counselling, “krisenchat” offers psychoeducation via social media platforms and raises awareness of the problems of the younger generation in society and politics.
