Digital help via chat

It is often the hardest thing for people seeking help to come forward with their problems and open up to another person. For young people in particular it is easier to be able to turn to a counselling centre digitally and anonymously with their problems. This is exactly where "krisenchat" comes in with a simple and understandable service to offer young people easy access to acute help via chat.

More information

Aim of the project:
With the help of a professional network, children and young people receive targeted counselling. To ensure best service possible, “krisenchat” works with clinics, drop-in centres, doctors and child-and youth welfare services. In addition to crisis counselling, “krisenchat” provides psycho-educational content on social media platforms and raises awareness of the problems of the younger generation in society and politics.

Object of donations:
Support for psychosocial crisis counselling for children and young people in emergency situations via chat in German and Ukrainian by trained specialists and 500 volunteer crisis counsellors.

Here, parents are supported in developing their parenting skills and trained to deal constructively with challenges in the family, e.g. anger and aggression in their children, sibling rivalry, behavioral problems or the correct way to deal with media.
